VR shows

A safety day with VR headsets

A VR show is a chance to refresh what people learned in training. Each participant works through a scenario at their own pace and carries out each step according to procedure – with their own hands, at no risk. We bring the headsets, apps and an operator.

What a show looks like

Learning by doing, not by slides

The apps use hand tracking, so participants do everything just as in real life – with their own hands. A voice-over tells them what to do, and their decisions affect the outcome.

Hand tracking, no controllers

Everything is done just as in real life – with your own hands.

At your own pace

Each participant works through the scenario on their own, following the procedures.

Learning by doing

Training knowledge turns into action: first aid, fire, working at height.

Operator on site

Helps put on the headset, guides participants through the scenario and keeps the equipment hygienic.

Where and how

We run shows in offices, production halls and outdoors

VR show participant wearing a headset in a conference room

Conference room, office kitchen, lobby

We set up stations where employees pass by anyway.

Employees practising CPR in VR headsets in a warehouse

Warehouse, production hall

We mark out play areas and participants practise right next to their workstations.

VR show on a lawn during a company picnic

Outdoors: car park, lawn

Company and family picnics, open days, fairs.

Option 1

Drop-in

People come along whenever they like. With a larger group we show shorter apps and rotate participants, so some people may wait a little.

Option 2 | most effective

Scheduled groups

Groups every 30 or 40 minutes. We show longer training scenarios, and everyone has their own headset with no waiting.

Why VR

Safety messages that stick

  • The emotions VR evokes increase participant engagement.
  • Learning in VR is several times faster than with other media.
  • Measurable results – you know the group’s level of knowledge.
  • A difficult situation under controlled conditions – with no risk to health.
Research by Baukal and Ausburn shows that when learning in VR, participants retain over 75% of the material – compared with 10% when reading and less than 50% from a lecture.
